SASHA, IF YOU SEE THISNEW!
posted SUN 10.11 · 4:02 AM · mood: awake · listening to: nothing
She's gone. My only little sister who tolerated all my bullshit just vanished today.
This morning the couch was empty. Her shoes were still by the door. Her phone was on the armrest at 100%.
Where her pillow was, there was this fucked up book. This thing is fucking paranormal as hell and my whole apartment smells like a firepit. I haven't opened it.
Sasha: if you can read this, use the old word in the shoutbox. You know the one.
Everyone else: don't send me theories. If you know where Sasha is please, please shout it out.
THE R.E.A. CAME BACK WITH LESS THAN THEY WENT IN WITH
We all know that when Whiteoak vanished, the R.E.A. sent their best people to find him. But we haven't heard shit about anybody coming back.
Reported sightings of insane people on the beaches rambling about their missing loved ones were all suppressed.
I heard that there was also reported sightings of a mysterious book. Some real spooky shit.
The truth is out there. I promise you in a decade the government will release some redacted files about how that place was a paranormal containment site under lock and key. Mark my words.
WHITEOAK IS GONE
posted MON 09.21 · 2:15 AM · mood: not happy to be proven right
Seven days of broadcasts. Every news outfit ran him, CBBC, SNSS, RSPAN, all like some gag reel. Then nothing. Robert "Dog-Master" Whiteoak, the only survivor of Serenity's Rise, is gone.
Here's what he said, word for word, pay attention sheeple:
"They'll be back. They always come back."
"A beauty untold. They speak of the ARK. The trip to other worlds. Only those worthy are welcome, but those who hear the call are never worthy. Lock up your children, your spouses, your loved ones. They will take it all."
Go frame by frame on the broadcast, then pull up any photo of him from the outpost twenty-seven years ago. It's the same face. I don't mean well preserved. I mean the same.

Every theory on this site sounds insane until you read the paperwork. So here's the paperwork: four times the government got caught doing exactly the kind of thing you'd laugh at me for suggesting. These aren't rumors. They're the agencies' own memos, on their own letterhead, with their own signatures.
Read those, then come back and tell me what's too crazy to be true.
THE RECEIPTS
they told you it was paranoia. here's their paperwork.
Rule one of The Margin: show the document. Every case below was proven by the agency's own records, released by the government or entered into the Congressional record. Every image is the real paper, in the public domain, with its source listed.

WHAT
CIA program to find drugs and techniques that could control human behavior
WHEN
Approved April 13, 1953; wound down in the early 1970s
RUN BY
Sidney Gottlieb, CIA chemist, under Director Allen Dulles
HOW WE KNOW
About 20,000 documents survived a 1973 shredding order because they were misfiled
THE SHORT VERSION
For about twenty years the CIA tested LSD, hypnosis, electroshock, sensory deprivation and other methods on human beings, including people who had no idea they were being tested. The work ran through more than 80 institutions: universities, hospitals, prisons and drug companies. Front organizations paid the bills, so many of the researchers never knew who they were really working for.
THE PAPER
Memorandum for the record, 9 June 1953. "Project MKULTRA, Subproject 8": a study of LSD. Budget: $39,500. Look at paragraph 3: a front organization "will serve as a cut-out and cover for this project" and pass the money along "as a philanthropic grant for medical research."
CIA, declassified. Public domain. Via Wikimedia Commons. An MKULTRA research proposal: studies "utilizing chronic animal preparations with permanent septal electrodes" to map "the geography of the brain," plus "a careful literature survey, especially of the Russian literature."
CIA, released through FOIA. Public domain. Via Wikimedia Commons.
HOW IT CAME OUT
In 1973, CIA Director Richard Helms ordered the MKULTRA files destroyed. The cover-up almost worked. In 1975 the Church Committee and the Rockefeller Commission exposed the program. In 1977 a Freedom of Information Act request turned up roughly 20,000 documents that had been stored in a financial records building instead of with the rest of the files. That August, the Senate held hearings on them.
One name to remember is Frank Olson, an Army biochemist. In November 1953 his CIA colleagues secretly gave him LSD. Nine days later he fell to his death from the 13th floor of a New York hotel. His family wasn't told about the drugging until 1975. They got an apology from President Ford and, later, a $750,000 settlement.
REDACTED'S TAKE
They ordered the files destroyed and still got caught by a filing mistake. Remember that the next time someone says "if it were real, there'd be proof." Reciepts only burn when you can throw them in the fire.
A list of fake attacks the U.S. could stage and blame on Cuba to justify an invasion
WHEN
Memo dated March 13, 1962
SIGNED BY
Gen. Lyman L. Lemnitzer, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff
HOW WE KNOW
Declassified November 18, 1997 by the JFK Assassination Records Review Board
THE SHORT VERSION
In March 1962, the Joint Chiefs of Staff sent the Secretary of Defense a menu of "pretexts" for war with Cuba. The ideas included hijackings, bombings, a staged shoot-down of an American plane, sinking boats of Cuban refugees, and attacks on the U.S. base at Guantanamo. The point was to give the United States "the apparent position of suffering defensible grievances." President Kennedy rejected it. None of it happened. The memo stayed secret for 35 years.
THE PAPER
Memorandum for the Secretary of Defense, 13 March 1962. Subject: "Justification for US Military Intervention in Cuba (TS)." Signed L. L. Lemnitzer, Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff.
Joint Chiefs of Staff. Public domain. Via the National Security Archive.Annex, page 8. "We could blow up a US ship in Guantanamo Bay and blame Cuba." "Casualty lists in US newspapers would cause a helpful wave of national indignation." "We could develop a Communist Cuban terror campaign in the Miami area, in other Florida cities and even in Washington."
Joint Chiefs of Staff. Public domain. Via the National Security Archive.
HOW IT CAME OUT
The JFK Assassination Records Review Board released it in November 1997, along with about 1,500 other pages of military records from 1962 to 1964. The National Security Archive at George Washington University put the full memo online in 2001. Kennedy had already moved Lemnitzer out as Chairman later in 1962.
REDACTED'S TAKE
The plan got rejected. Good. Thae scary part is the fuckin' author, man. The highest-ranking officer in the U.S. military, on official letterhead. "False flag" isn't a conspiracy theory. We live under one in this country every fucking day.
Covert FBI operations against American political groups
WHEN
1956 to 1971 (officially)
RUN BY
FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover
HOW WE KNOW
Activists stole the files from an FBI office in 1971 and mailed them to newspapers
THE SHORT VERSION
Hoover's orders told agents to "expose, disrupt, misdirect, discredit, or otherwise neutralize" their targets. The targets were Americans: civil rights organizations, Martin Luther King Jr., the Black Panther Party, antiwar groups, the New Left, the American Indian Movement, Puerto Rican independence groups, and the Ku Klux Klan. The methods included infiltration, anonymous letters, planted news stories, IRS audits and break-ins. In 1964 the FBI even mailed King an anonymous letter meant to break him.
THE PAPER
FBI headquarters to the Los Angeles office, 6 May 1970. Los Angeles wanted to send a letter "from a fictitious person" to Hollywood gossip columnists about actress Jean Seberg's pregnancy. Headquarters liked the idea but said it "would be better to wait approximately two additional months until Seberg's pregnancy would be obvious to everyone." The note at the bottom gives the reason: Seberg "has been a financial supporter of the BPP and should be neutralized."

The rumor ran anyway, as an unnamed item in the Los Angeles Times and then by name in Newsweek. Seberg's daughter was born premature in August 1970 and died two days later. In September 1979, days after Seberg's own death, the FBI admitted it had planted the story.
"Intelligence Activities and the Rights of Americans." Book II of the Senate Church Committee's final report, April 26, 1976.
U.S. Senate. Public domain. Via the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence.
HOW IT CAME OUT
On March 8, 1971, while the whole country was watching the Ali–Frazier fight, a group calling itself the Citizens' Commission to Investigate the FBI broke into the FBI field office in Media, Pennsylvania. They took the files and mailed copies to reporters. The Washington Post ran them on the front page. Hoover shut the program down that year, at least on paper. The burglars were never caught. They identified themselves in 2014.
In 1976 the Senate's Church Committee concluded that domestic intelligence had violated the law and the Constitution, and that Congress and the courts had failed to stop it.
REDACTED'S TAKE
They didn't need a gun. Some jumped up pr monkey with a typewriter did plenty. Every time you see a smear that lands a little too perfectly, find the PR slug underneath it.
NSA collection of user data from major U.S. internet companies
WHEN
Started 2007, under Section 702 of FISA
PROVIDERS
Microsoft, Yahoo!, Google, Facebook, PalTalk, YouTube, Skype, AOL, Apple
HOW WE KNOW
Slides leaked by NSA contractor Edward Snowden, published June 6, 2013
THE SHORT VERSION
Starting in 2007, the NSA collected email, chats, photos, video, stored files and more from the biggest internet companies in the country. Microsoft joined first, in 2007, and Apple last, in 2012. Internal slides called PRISM the number-one source of raw intelligence in NSA reports. Nobody outside the government knew until The Guardian and The Washington Post published the slides in June 2013.
THE PAPER

HOW IT CAME OUT
Three months before the leak, Director of National Intelligence James Clapper was asked in a Senate hearing whether the NSA collects "any type of data at all on millions or hundreds of millions of Americans." He answered, "No, sir," then added, "Not wittingly." That question was about phone records, a separate program the same leaks exposed. After publication, the government confirmed that PRISM existed and defended it as legal. The companies denied giving the NSA "direct access" to their servers. In 2020 a federal appeals court ruled that the phone-records program had been illegal.
REDACTED'S TAKE
For the record, I know they are reading my mail. They're fuckin' reading yours too if we run in the same circles. Privacy is a lie they feed you to keep you from asking hard questions.
Coastal, in the northeast. Known for its glass-sea beaches and strange food from far-off territories, and not much else.
THE FALL
Twenty-seven years ago, a wave of green light. The city and everyone in it, gone. Not destroyed. Gone. Those aren't the same word.
THE SURVIVOR
Robert "Dog-Master" Whiteoak. Never left his outpost on the old city line. Hasn't aged a day. Why "Dog-Master"? Nobody will tell me where the name came from.
BEFORE
Decades of sightings: witches, and people in cloth robes carrying scepters that look like Anubis. Locals said the waterfall was a source of power.
AFTER
Twenty-seven years of nothing. Even the kids stopped telling the stories.
THREE WEEKS AGO
Whiteoak on every channel for a week, raving about angels and an ARK. Then he vanished.
THE R.E.A.
Sent investigators. The few who came back described sandstone cities full of their dead. Then they vanished too. Left behind: a book bound in human skin that smells of ashes.
PROJECT ARROWHEAD
I don't know yet. Every reference I've found is the name and nothing else. That's never a good sign.
WHAT I THINK
Speculation. Labeled as speculation. That's the difference between me and them.
The green light wasn't a weapon. Weapons leave something behind. It was a door.
"They always come back." Everyone assumes he means the robes. I don't think he does. I think he means whatever the robes were letting in.
The last one is personal. I've written about Serenity's Rise since before I had a reason to. I can draw the waterfall from memory. I've never seen a photo of the waterfall.
I've run The Margin for eleven years. I don't show my face, I don't use my name, and I don't do interviews. It's all real until proven otherwise, and if it's proven otherwise you aren't paying enough attention.
